NJCC information about CISM

The New Jersey CISM Collaborative is a group of experienced and trained 

Critical Incident Stress Management teams offering a variety of supports to career and volunteer  emergency responders in New Jersey before, during and after critical incidents.


The Collaborative's volunteer CISM teams are peer lead and mental health guided.  The teams offer peer-to-peer support, normalization and education as part of the Critical Incident Stress Management system that commonly includes group debriefings, group defusings and individual intervention.
